Wiper Blade Protection

According to product literature from C&S Innovations, safety is 90 percent visual, yet wiper blades are often the last thing people think about before preparing to travel but the first thing they notice when the wipers don't work properly. The Wiper Buddy, a patented windshield and wiper preservation device, is designed to keep wipers working properly. This small device raises the wiper system from the windshield when the vehicle is parked, with or without a windshield cover. The Wiper Buddy is said to prevent damage to the wiper blade caused by sticking in the summer or winter and to eliminate dirt buildup that can cause accelerated blade wear and costly windshield etching. In addition, the device can prevent moisture buildup by allowing the wiper blades and cover to air dry.
According to company literature, if wipers are elevated using the Wiper Buddy for two or three days before traveling, they often return to their designed shape without the deflection that can cause chatter, fluttering, and jumping.

The Wiper Buddy is available in two sizes. The larger model, which fits RVs and full-size trucks, is priced at $3.84, plus $1.00 shipping; the smaller model, for small trucks, cars, and sport-utility vehicles, is $2.25, plus $1.00 for shipping.
